The Old Kishwaukeeans were created as a union of the Gravens and Sycamore Old Boys in September.  On a roll of toilet paper in Fritz's Wooden Nickel in Stillman Valley, Illinois, a manifesto spelled out the union.  As history has shown, the union proved to be an awesome team

The Wild American Touring Side was created this year and in their first tournament they brought home 1st place hardware from the Steamboat 7's Tournament in Peoria.  The TWATS wore gold jersey & hose with royal shorts.  Rockford's first 7's team was conceived and captained by Dave Carter.

Former president, captain, friend of the working girl, tour judge Jim Shippling moved to Erie, Pennsylvania in the spring.  At the time it was a great loss but Jim still visits often and did tour with Rockford to Scotland in 1998.  But that is, alas, another story.

Awards went to...... MVP-Tom Woolley, Eric Morgan-Mike Foster, Nigel-Curt White, Rookie-Matt Zimmer, Improved Back-Mike Przykucki, Improved Forward-Curt White.
