President

The president of the club goes back to one of the founders, Greg Ruffner.  In the early years of the club, the president was a position that involved work at every level.  Washing dishes after a social event, helping recruits, coaching a side, and refereeing a 2^nd side were all things required of a president for years.  As the club grew, competent officers in other positions enabled the president to expand into more of a figurehead that monitored and controlled the direction of the club or into an "all-everything" type officer. The president is still one of the more demanding positions because all work stops at that position.  If another officer fails to perform it is the president that is forced to fill the gap.
